Workshops, a festive reception and the General Assembly of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Academia scientiarum et artium Europaea) were held in Salzburg on July 1 and 2, 2022. The previous president Felix Unger, who led the Academy since its establishment in 1990, handed over the presidential chain at the Assembly to the new president Klaus Mainzer, elected in 2020.
More than 120 participants from 18 countries gathered on 24–26 June 2022 in the German city of Nuremberg and the Czech town of Poběžovice at the 48th Paneuropean Days organised by the German and the Czech Paneuropean Union. On the occasion of the centenary, the theme of the congress was: "100 Years of Paneurope - a Launching Pad for the Future".
The Faculty Council of the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb, made a decision to award the prize for works of high international visibility published in 2020. Two of my original scientific papers published by internationally prominent publishers were awarded.
On the 26th anniversary of the signing of the Peace Agreement on Bosnia and Herzegovina in Paris, a round table "European Star of Peace in Banja Luka – 26 years after the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement Paris was held in the organisation of the European Centre for Peace and Cooperation "Maria the Star" and the International Pan-European Union.
